브라질 인터넷은행 스타크뱅크 SA(Stark Bank SA)가 올해 주력 분야 중 하나로 브라질의 암호화폐 스타트업을 언급했다. 블룸버그 통신에 따르면 스타크뱅크 CEO 라파엘 스타크(Rafael Stark)가 "도널드 트럼프 미국 대통령이 암호화폐를 지지함에 따라 해당 시장의 매력도가 높아지고 있다. 기존 은행 업계는 이를 기피했으나, 해당 시장이 향후 성장을 촉진할 것"이라고 말했다. 스타크뱅크는 아마존 창업자 제프 베이조스의 투자회사인 베이조스 익스페디션(Bezos Expeditions)으로부터 투자를 받은 바 있다.
