홍콩 기반 투자회사 HK 아시아 홀딩스(HK Asia Holdings)가 10 BTC를 추가 매입했다고 발표했다. 코인데스크에 따르면 이는 총 858,581 달러 규모로, 이로써 업체의 보유량은 18.88 BTC로 늘어났다. 구매는 오픈마켓 거래를 통해 이뤄졌으며 내부 현금 보유금으로 자금을 조달했다는 설명이다. HK 아시아 홀딩스는 "비트코인을 전세계적인 경제 불확실성, 인플레이션 우려, 법정화폐 가치 하락 등에 대한 헤지 수단으로 평가하고 있다"고 설명했다.
