일론 머스크 테슬라 CEO 겸 정부 효율성 부서(D.O.G.E) 대표가 타운홀 미팅에서 "미국 정부가 도지코인(DOGE)을 사용하거나 채택할 계획은 없다"고 말했다. 크립토브리핑에 따르면 그는 이 자리에서 정부 효율성 부서와 DOGE 사이에는 아무런 관련이 없다고도 덧붙였다.
