미국 싱크탱크 비트코인 정책연구소(Bitcoin Policy Institute)가 비트코인 연계 국채 상품 비트본드(BitBonds) 출시를 제안했다고 더블록이 전했다. 비트코인 정책 연구소는 "해당 상품을 통해 미국 국채 이자 부담을 줄이는 동시에 국가의 비트코인 보유량을 늘리는 이중 효과를 낼 수 있다. 도널드 트럼프 대통령의 비트코인 전략적 비축안을 직접 이행하는 수단"이라고 설명했다.
