블록파이 "미국 외 고객 43%만 자금 상환 청구"

파산한 암호화폐 대출업체 블록파이(BlockFi)가 채권자 자금 상환 마감일(5월15일)을 앞두고, 미국 외 고객들의 자금 상환 청구를 촉구했다고 코인데스크가 전했다. 블록파이는 블로그를 통해 "지금까지 미국 고객의 97%가 자금 상환을 청구했지만, 미국 외 고객은 43%만이 자금 상환을 청구한 상태다. 빠르게 상환 절차를 완료해 모든 고객이 5월 15일까지 자금을 상환 받길 바란다"고 전했다. 앞서 지난해 7월 미국 뉴저지 지방 파산 법원은 블록파이(BlockFi)의 고객 자금 100% 상환 계획을 승인한 바 있다.
