룩온체인은 "FDUSD 디페깅 이후 윈터뮤트가 7500만 FDUSD를 퍼스트디지털랩스(FDUSD 발행사)로 이체했다. 할인된 가격에 FDUSD를 매수하고 퍼스트디지털에서 달러와 1:1 상환해 수익을 창출했을 것"이라고 전했다. 앞서 트론 설립자 저스틴 선이 퍼스트 디지털 트러스트의 자금 상환 능력에 대해 우려를 제기한 후 FDUSD가 하락, 디페깅이 발생한 바 있다.
