'리플 인수' 히든로드, 미국 브로커-딜러 라이선스 획득

프라임 브로커 히든로드(Hidden Road)가 미국 금융산업규제청(FINRA)으로부터 브로커-딜러 운영 라이선스를 취득했다고 코인데스크가 보도했다. 라이선스는 히든로드 자회사인 히든로드 파트너스 CIV US가 획득한 것으로, 이를 통해 기업은 채권 프라임 브로커리지 플랫폼을 확장할 수 있게 됐다. 향후 기관 고객 대상 채권 자산의 청산, 자금 조달 및 프라임 브로커리지 분야의 더욱 광범위한 서비스를 제공할 계획이다. 한편 지난달 리플은 히든로드를 12.5억 달러에 인수한다고 밝힌 바 있다. 인수 거래는 규제 당국의 승인을 거쳐야 하며, 향후 몇 달 안에 완료될 것으로 예상된다.
