카르다노(ADA) 설립자 찰스 호스킨슨이 카르다노 생태계 지갑 레이스(Lace)가 XRP를 지원한다고 밝혔다. 크립토베이직에 따르면 찰스는 유튜브 AMA에서 리플 팀과의 파트너십을 아직 논의 중이냐는 질문에 "리플 팀과의 관계가 순조롭다"며 초기 경쟁 구도가 끝났음을 시사했다. 또 리플 CTO 데이비드 슈워츠가 자신을 리플 행사에 초청했으며, XRP 유저들이 곧 진행될 미드나잇(프라이버시 중점 블록체인) 토큰 NIGHT 에어드롭에 참여할 수 있을 것이라고 덧붙였다. 이달 초 찰스는 XRPL(XRP렛저)를 포함한 8개 블록체인의 3700만 유저를 대상으로 NIGHT 토큰을 에어드롭할 계획이라고 발표한 바 있다.
