PANews reported on December 8th that Robinhood has expanded its fee tiers in the US from 3 to 7, with high-frequency traders receiving a minimum fee of 0.03%. In the EU, it has added XRP, SOL, DOGE, and SUI perpetual contract trading pairs, offering up to 7x leverage for qualified users. The company also launched ETH and SOL staking for New York users; starting December 22nd, the US region will support manually adding crypto deposit cost bases to maintain tax approvals and profit/loss. Robinhood stated that recent market events have prompted users to "turn to security." Third-quarter trading revenue increased by 129% year-over-year, with crypto revenue reaching $268 million, a year-over-year increase of over 300%.
