PANews 6月28日消息，据财联社报道，字节跳动对元宇宙的投资近日再添筹码，并购一家专注于二次元虚拟社交世界的科技公司“北京波粒子科技有限公司”。波粒子科技的创始人马杰思已在5月份将脉脉的个人认证改为“字节跳动Pico社交中心负责人”。波粒子科技被收购后，原有团队50余人整体并入到了Pico社交中心。
此次收购，意味着字节跳动已开始布局社交元宇宙。此前，字节跳动在游戏、VR硬件、内容生态等各个元宇宙细分赛道都有投资。
