Chainlink Becomes First Blockchain Oracle Platform to Receive ISO 27001 and SOC 2 Certifications

PANews reported on August 21st that Chainlink has received ISO 27001 certification and SOC 2 Type 1 attestation, becoming the first oracle platform in the blockchain industry to achieve this level of security compliance. The certification covers Chainlink's data standards (including price oracles and asset proofs) and the Cross-Chain Interoperability Protocol (CCIP). The review was conducted by independent accounting firm Deloitte & Touche LLP in accordance with AICPA standards.

As the most widely used data oracle standard in the DeFi space, Chainlink currently holds approximately 68% of the market share, secures over $90 billion in total value, and supports tens of trillions of dollars in on-chain transactions. Its cross-chain interoperability standard, CCIP, is also widely adopted by financial institutions such as Swift, UBS, and ANZ Bank, as well as leading DeFi protocols.

Earlier news reported that Chainlink launched a strategic LINK reserve, with over one million US dollars of LINK already deposited into the reserve .
