Bank of England Governor: Any stablecoin widely used in the UK in the future should be able to access the central bank's account

PANews reported on October 1 that according to Jinshi Data, Bank of England Governor Andrew Bailey said that in the future, any stablecoin that is widely used in the UK should be able to be connected to the Bank of England's account to consolidate its currency status.

Bailey also noted that stablecoins could help transition the financial system away from a commercial lending model.
