PANews reported on February 23 that according to CryptoQuant data, within two days of the devastating attack on the Bybit exchange, Bybit had replenished its ETH reserves to nearly 50% of the pre-hacker level. As of 8:52 a.m. UTC, Bybit held more than 201,600 ETH, an increase of more than 45% compared to the 439,000 ETH held on February 20. As previously reported, on February 21, the Bybit exchange was hacked and lost more than $1.4 billion worth of STETH, mETH and other Ethereum ecosystem tokens, becoming the largest crypto theft in history.
