PANews reported on October 27 that according to The Information, AI search startup Perplexity is raising a new round of financing with a valuation of at least $8 billion. X, Notion and OpenAI have all made acquisition offers of $150 million to $200 million to Perplexity, and Microsoft has also expressed its intention to acquire it.
