PANews reported on January 27 that Yu Xian, the founder of SlowMist, tweeted that the Spam MEME tokens on Solana (such as Vine imitations) created prosperity through "feed price fraud", which not only deceived some trading platforms, but also affected Solscan and some mainstream wallets. He cited a typical case:
After the victim purchased the real MEME token, the wallet history was followed and some Spam MEME tokens were subsequently received. Due to the FOMO mentality, the user directly copied the contract address (CA) of Spam MEME from the history record for the next transaction. Since the contract address of Spam MEME is only different from the original token address, its price seems normal, causing the user to be deceived.
Users are reminded to carefully check the contract address of the token when trading to avoid being deceived.
