PANews reported on April 2 that Bitfarms has reached a preliminary agreement with Macquarie Group to obtain up to $300 million in private debt financing for its data center and high-performance computing (HPC) project development in Panther Creek, Pennsylvania. The first $50 million will be drawn upon signing of the agreement, and the funds will be used for early construction in a non-dilutive manner.
