Pakistan and the US discuss digital assets, Bitcoin integration, and decentralized infrastructure cooperation

PANews reported on June 4 that Pakistan's Minister of State for Cryptography and Blockchain and CEO of the Pakistan Cryptography Commission (PCC), Bilal Bin Saqib, recently held an important meeting with Robert 'Bo' Hines, Executive Director of the US President's Digital Asset Advisory Committee, at the White House to discuss digital assets, Bitcoin integration and decentralized infrastructure cooperation. The two sides also explored supporting innovative ecosystems and economic inclusive development through blockchain.

Pakistan recently launched the Strategic Bitcoin Reserve (SBR) and plans to allocate 2,000 megawatts of electricity for Bitcoin mining and AI data zone construction.
