Nigerian court postpones Binance tax evasion case hearing to April 30

PANews reported on April 8 that according to CryptoSlate, the Nigerian court postponed the tax evasion case against Binance to April 30 to allow the tax authorities to respond to the legal motion filed by Binance. The Nigerian Federal Taxation Authority accused Binance of failing to pay corporate income tax and fines for 2022 and 2023, with a total claim of more than US$79 billion . Binance questioned the legality of the court's delivery of legal documents via email, saying that its headquarters is in the Cayman Islands and it has no entity in Nigeria.
