PANews reported on March 27 that according to The block, according to the latest report from Immunefi, a Web3 vulnerability bounty and security service platform, the crypto industry is about to end the worst quarter for hacker attacks in history, with 40 incidents so far causing a total loss of $1.64 billion. Losses increased 4.7 times compared to the first quarter of 2024, when hackers stole about $348.3 million, although the number of attacks decreased by 36% from 63. Most of the losses came from Bybit's record $1.46 billion in February.
