PANews reported on May 5 that Ripple officially announced a total donation of US$25 million to the US educational non-profit organizations DonorsChoose and Teach For America, mainly in the form of its US dollar stablecoin Ripple USD (RLUSD). The donation aims to support teachers and students across the United States, improve access to educational resources, and promote academic achievements and economic resilience.

According to a Ripple statement, the partnership will fund thousands of teacher projects and classroom needs, support Teach For America’s Ignite mentoring program, and the two parties will also promote financial literacy education to help students and educators build a solid academic foundation and economic capabilities in a rapidly changing job market.
