PANews reported on December 22 that Reuters quoted people familiar with the matter as saying that the Biden administration plans to include Sophgo, an artificial intelligence company affiliated with Bitmain, on the US Department of Commerce's restricted trade list because the company's TSMC-made chips were illegally incorporated into Huawei's artificial intelligence processors.

Earlier news , Sophgo, an artificial intelligence company affiliated with Bitmain, said in a statement that it has never had any direct or indirect business dealings with Huawei. Sophgo has provided TSMC with a detailed investigation report to prove that Sophgo has nothing to do with the investigation into Huawei.
