PANews reported on December 17 that according to Bloomberg, executives in the digital asset industry are joining the ranks of CEOs in the technology industry to make a "pilgrimage" to Mar-a-Lago to meet with President-elect Donald Trump before he returns to the White House and takes office.
Kris Marszalek, CEO of crypto exchange Crypto.com, met with Trump at the golf resort in Florida on Monday. Sources said the two discussed appointments related to the cryptocurrency field, including positions in the financial sector, Congress and the incoming administration, and discussed appointments related to Bitcoin reserves.
“We look forward to working with the new administration to develop and advance clear regulations for the cryptocurrency industry, thereby enabling the United States to become a global leader in digital assets and innovation,” a Crypto.com spokesperson said.
