PANews 7月26日消息,据路透社报道, 澳大利亚法院命令 Facebook 所有者 Meta Platforms (META.O)支付总计 2000 万澳元(合 1400 万美元)的罚款,原因是其通过一款宣传为保护隐私的智能手机应用程序(Onavo)收集用户数据,但未披露其数据收集方法。澳大利亚联邦法院还命令 Meta 通过其子公司 Facebook Israel 和现已停产的应用程序 Onavo 向提起民事诉讼的澳大利亚竞争和消费者委员会 (ACCC) 支付 40 万澳元的法律费用。
