At an event in Tehran, Hemmati emphasized the government's plan to mitigate the economic risks posed by digital currencies while taking advantage of their potential benefits. He emphasized the authority of the Central Bank of Iran in managing digital assets and highlighted the potential of digital currencies in promoting youth employment, increasing economic assets and offsetting sanctions.
