Abstract Global Wallet releases security update, plans to temporarily use session keys in whitelist mode

PANews reported on March 8 that Abstract core contributor cygaar published a post on the X platform announcing that Abstract Global Wallet has launched a major security improvement, which intends to limit the use of session keys to a set of approved applications.

Cygaar added that session keys must be implemented correctly, otherwise it may pose a threat to user funds (similar to token approval), so it was decided to temporarily set access permissions based on a whitelist model. Although these changes do not guarantee that the wallet is 100% safe or risk-free to use (this is impossible), it will reduce the risk of facing malicious session keys.
