Solana developers propose raising block computation limit to process more transactions and improve network efficiency

PANews reported on December 7 that according to Cryptoslate, Solana developers proposed to increase the network's block calculation limit from 48 million units to 50 million units to process more transactions and improve network efficiency. According to details shared on GitHub via the Solana Improvement Document, this incremental increase is intended to improve transaction processing without affecting network performance. Andrew Fitzgerald, Anza software developer and author of the proposal, mentioned that the idea is still in the draft stage. This suggests that further refinements may be made before final approval.
