HashKey Group Appoints Chagri Poyraz as Chief Risk Officer

PANews reported on March 6 that HashKey Group announced the appointment of Chagri Poyraz as Chief Risk Officer. He will be responsible for HashKey Group's global compliance strategy, risk control, legal affairs and global license applications, ensuring that the group's businesses comply with the highest regulatory standards.

Poyraz has over 20 years of experience in global risk management and building industry-leading compliance programs, designing and implementing compliance programs for many well-known cryptocurrency and traditional financial institutions including Binance and HSBC to prevent, monitor and report on money laundering, bribery, sanctions violations, weapons proliferation and other financial crimes.

This appointment comes at a critical time for HashKey Group’s global expansion. HashKey has established a solid compliance foundation in several important financial centers. It holds licenses in Hong Kong, Singapore, Japan and Bermuda, and has obtained the registration approval of Virtual Asset Service Provider (VASP) from the Central Bank of Ireland and the approval in principle of Dubai VASP license, and is actively promoting the European MiCA license.

Poyraz has experience in compliance management in multiple jurisdictions and is particularly good at developing and implementing effective compliance programs. This will provide important strategic support for HashKey in the face of the dynamic global regulatory environment, and further promote HashKey to provide trusted and accessible digital asset services to one billion users around the world.
