Trump signs bill to revoke Biden administration crypto tax rules

PANews reported on April 11 that according to The Block, US President Trump has signed a joint congressional resolution to formally revoke the IRS crypto tax rules ( DeFi broker rules ) passed at the end of the Biden administration. The rules require "custodial brokers" to collect and report user data to tax authorities. The bill was initiated by Senator Ted Cruz and Congressman Mike Carey, who said it was the first crypto-related legislation to be signed into law. The bill was passed by both houses of Congress and received support from some Democrats. The DeFi Education Foundation said the move was a positive signal for the development of decentralized technology.
