PANews reported on May 22 that according to Cointelegraph, automaker DeLorean launched an electric car reservation NFT system on the Sui blockchain. Users holding "Build Slot NFT" can obtain priority purchase rights for its new Alpha 5 EV electric car, which is the brand's first new model in more than 40 years. DeLorean has established an exclusive NFT trading market to support users to buy and sell reservation qualifications using USDC stablecoins. The company said it will use the FLUX protocol to put vehicle battery health, maintenance records and other data on the chain to facilitate second-hand car transactions. The project also launched the utility token DeLorean (DMC).
