PANews reported on January 29 that according to Coindesk, Cardano's hard fork Plomin will be launched later on Wednesday, and the network will transition to fully decentralized governance. Before the upgrade to fully decentralized governance, Cardano's ADA token trading price has risen slightly. After the upgrade, ADA holders will get voting rights to support parameter changes and treasury withdrawals to decide the future of hard forks and blockchains. It is reported that the Plomin hard fork requires equity pool operators to upgrade nodes and pass the upgrade with 51% of votes. As of last week, nearly 80% of nodes have been upgraded to the new version.
