PANews reported on June 6 that according to Cointelegraph, the lending protocol Maple Finance announced its expansion to the Solana network, deploying its yield stablecoin syrupUSD through the Chainlink Cross-Chain Interoperability Protocol (CCIP), with an initial injection of $30 million in liquidity. The stablecoin previously only supported Ethereum, and is now available on the Solana ecosystem platforms Kamino and Orca. Maple founder Sid Powell said that Solana's high throughput characteristics will help the protocol cover a wider range of institutions and professional DeFi users.
