PANews reported on March 7 that PolkaWorld shared the current progress of Polkadot 2.0, the value of elastic expansion, and the timeline. Currently, in 2.0, asynchronous support and Agile Coretime are already online. It is expected that elastic expansion will be fully launched on Polkadot in the second quarter of 2025, which will also mark the delivery of Polkadot 2.0 (i.e. Cloud). It is reported that Polkadot 2.0 is the next-generation upgraded version of the Polkadot network, and its goal is to improve the scalability, flexibility and efficiency of the entire blockchain ecosystem.
