PANews reported on February 25 that DeFi protocol Aave released v3.3 upgrade, introducing bad debt management and liquidation optimization functions. The recording and destruction functions of bad debt management can handle unresolvable debts, which is compatible with the upcoming automatic bad debt coverage function of Umbrella. Umbrella aims to use pledged aTokens to absorb bad debts, eliminating the need for governance intervention. Users can stake aTokens without borrowing to earn rewards for contributing to the security of the protocol.
