PANews reported on January 31 that according to Diarioelsalvador, Jesse Knutson, COO of Bitfinex Securities, said that the company plans to issue Blockstream Mining Note 2 (BMN2) in El Salvador in the first quarter of this year. It is reported that BMN2 is a tokenized financial product that allows investors to obtain Bitcoin mining income from Blockstream by holding it. The BMN1 previously issued in Luxembourg paid investors more than 1,212 BTC (about 70.68 million US dollars) in three years, achieving a capital return rate of 108%. Compared with the Luxembourg version, the BMN2 issued in El Salvador will lower the investment threshold and no longer require a minimum investment of 100,000 US dollars.
