OpenSea will shut down OS1 on June 16, and OS2 will no longer support the "Deals" function, which has caused controversy

PANews reported on June 12 that according to Blockworks, the NFT trading platform OpenSea announced that it will completely shut down the OS1 version on June 16, and its new version OS2 will no longer support Deals, English auctions, test network support, and shopping carts. The platform explained that these functions are underused, and there are compatibility issues between "transaction bargaining" and the ERC 721-C royalty mandatory contract. Some users are dissatisfied with this, believing that canceling "Deals" will increase the risk of fraud. This feature has been launched since July 2023, allowing users to customize NFT exchange plans.
