PANews reported on December 9 that Zilliqa announced the official launch of Aventurine Proto-Mainnet to prepare for the upcoming release of Zilliqa 2.0 mainnet. As the final test network, Aventurine introduced several important features, including the interoperability of EVM and Scilla smart contract language, the delegated staking function that supports liquidity staking, and the integration and token migration of decentralized applications (dApps).

Zilliqa 2.0 will also achieve cross-chain bridging with Cardano through cooperation with Wanchain, while attracting multiple validators including LSP to participate in network construction.
