OpenAI CEO discusses AI collaboration with Indian government, including GPUs, models, and apps

PANews reported on February 5 that Ashwini Vaishnaw, Minister of Electronics and Information Technology of India, had just posted on the social media platform X that he had met with OpenAI CEO Sam Altman to discuss artificial intelligence (AI) strategies involving GPUs, models, and applications. Vaishnaw said that OpenAI is interested in cooperating with India in these three areas and appreciated Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi's vision of promoting the democratization of technology.
