PANews reported on March 10 that according to its official blog, the cryptocurrency exchange Kraken announced that it has officially obtained the Electronic Money Institution (EMI) license issued by the UK Financial Conduct Authority (FCA). The EMI license allows it to issue electronic money, providing customers with faster deposit and withdrawal services. Bivu Das, general manager of Kraken UK, said: "Obtaining the EMI license is a fundamental step in our expansion strategy."
