PANews, June 19 – According to Decrypt, two brothers from Texas, Isiah Garcia and Raymond Garcia, recently pleaded guilty in federal court in Minneapolis. They admitted to breaking into a home in Grant, Minnesota, in September 2025 while armed, holding a family hostage for eight hours, and forcing the homeowner to transfer over $8 million in cryptocurrency. During the incident, the suspects also escorted the victim to their northern cabin to retrieve additional cold wallets to continue the transfers. After the victim’s child called the police, the FBI tracked evidence left at the scene to the Houston area and arrested the two.
