PANews reported on March 18 that according to TechCrunch, Graphite, an AI code review platform supported by Anthropic, announced the completion of a US$52 million Series B financing round. This round of financing was led by Accel, with participation from Anthropic's Anthology Fund, Menlo Ventures, Shopify Ventures, Figma Ventures, Andreessen Horowitz and The General Partnership.

Founded in 2020 by Tomas Reimers, Greg Foster, and Merrill Lutsky, Graphite initially focused on mobile development tools before turning to AI-driven code review. Its platform uses models from Anthropic and OpenAI to provide code feedback, error detection, and automatically fix code problems. Currently, Graphite serves more than 500 companies, including Shopify, Snowflake, Figma, and Perplexity, with revenue growing 20 times in 2024. In addition, Graphite is launching a new product, Diamond, designed to automatically capture code errors. After this round of financing, Graphite's total financing has reached US$81 million, and the funds will be used for product development and team expansion.
