PANews reported on December 19 that Metaplanet, a Japanese listed company, announced that its shares have begun trading on the U.S. OTCQX market with the stock code $MTPLF. As of now, the company holds 1,142.29 bitcoins as part of its balance sheet, highlighting the importance of its "Bitcoin First" strategy. Ordinary shares will still be listed and traded on the Tokyo Stock Exchange.
