PANews reported on February 8th that, according to FOX 10, two California teenagers have been charged with felonies for allegedly committing a violent home invasion robbery, reportedly targeting $66 million worth of cryptocurrency. The suspects allegedly entered the house posing as delivery drivers, then sealed the door with duct tape and assaulted the homeowner.
Police say the suspects' motive was to rob the homeowner of $66 million worth of cryptocurrency. Investigators believe the two teenagers had recently met and were blackmailed by the perpetrators, who used the aliases "Red" and "8," which led them to participate in the crime. Police arrested the two teenagers shortly after they fled the scene in a blue Subaru.
