PANews reported on February 9th that, according to Cointelegraph, the TON Foundation has released a payment software development kit (SDK) called TON Pay, designed to enable cryptocurrency to be used in everyday consumer transactions within the Telegram ecosystem. Positioned as a simple, easy-to-use, wallet-agnostic payment layer, the product allows merchants and mini-program developers to accept cryptocurrency payments directly through Telegram, aiming to establish Telegram as a seamless blockchain commerce hub.

The TON Foundation stated that TON Pay provides developers with a single software toolkit that integrates with Telegram mini-programs, reducing the cumbersome steps involved in managing wallet infrastructure, settlement, and checkout processes.
