In 2025, the national cyberspace administration system held talks with 5,811 websites and platforms.

PANews reported on February 14th that in 2025, the national cyberspace administration system comprehensively promoted strict, standardized, fair, and civilized law enforcement, focusing on improving the pertinence, effectiveness, and foresight of cyber law enforcement, further increasing its deterrent power and authority, effectively maintaining a clean and healthy cyberspace, and protecting the legitimate rights and interests of the people. Over the past year, the national cyberspace administration system has legally interviewed 5,811 websites and platforms, issued 1,646 warnings, imposed fines on 521 websites and platforms, ordered the suspension of functions or updates 688 times, removed 2,133 apps and 192 mini-programs from app stores, and, in conjunction with telecommunications authorities, revoked the registration of 9,637 websites and apps, and shut them down. It has also urged websites and platforms to fulfill their primary responsibilities and legally handle various illegal accounts.
