PANews reported on February 18th that market data shows spot gold and silver continued to rise. Spot gold broke through $4930/oz, up 1.09% on the day; New York gold futures touched $4950/oz, up 0.90% on the day. Spot silver touched $75/oz, up 2.03% on the day; New York silver futures rose 2.00% on the day, currently trading at $75.05/oz.
Gold and silver spot and futures prices rose across the board, with New York gold futures touching $4,950 per ounce.
