PANews reported on February 24 that, according to an announcement by Anthropic, they discovered that DeepSeek, Moonshot AI, and MiniMax have been using industrial-scale "distillation attacks" to extract Claude's model capabilities on a large scale. These labs are accused of using over 24,000 fake accounts to interact with Claude more than 16 million times to train and optimize their own models.
