Decibel, a perpetual contract exchange incubated by Aptos Labs, has launched on the Aptos mainnet.

PANews reported on February 26th that, according to CoinDesk, Decibel, a fully on-chain perpetual contract exchange incubated by Aptos Labs, has launched on the Aptos mainnet. Previously, its public testnet attracted over 700,000 unique accounts and 132,000 daily active users, with an average daily trading volume exceeding 1 million transactions. The pre-launch deposit campaign secured over $58 million in commitments, approximately 40% of which came from Ethereum and Solana users.

Decibel employs a centralized order book model, where order placement, matching, settlement, and risk management are all executed on-chain. The default collateral for this protocol is usDCBL, a USD stablecoin issued by Stripe's Bridge. Decibel plans to gradually add a spot market, multi-collateral accounts, and tokenized real-world assets.
