Trump: The US will resume "fierce" strikes against Iran; all Iran needs to do is start signing agreements.

PANews reported on June 10 that US President Trump stated the US would take "very tough" action against Iran if a peace agreement could not be reached. Speaking to reporters at the White House, Trump said, "We're going to attack them, hit them hard, and resume bombing." He mentioned Iran's downing of an Apache helicopter in the Strait of Hormuz. Trump emphasized that the US has the right to resume strikes against Iran. Regarding an agreement with Iran, Trump stated he hoped for a meaningful deal. "It's a good deal, and Iran should sign it," he said. "They keep pressuring us, and we'll see how the agreement develops." Previously, Fox News reported that Trump indicated he was close to ordering strikes against Iranian infrastructure, but in his latest statement, Trump said he would not specify whether he would destroy Iranian bridges and power plants.
