Coincheck announced that it has completed the acquisition of approximately 99.8% of the equity interest in Canadian digital asset management company 3iQ.

PANews reported on March 2nd that, according to Business Wire, Coincheck Group NV announced the completion of its acquisition of approximately 99.8% of the equity in Canadian digital asset management company 3iQ Corp. Founded in 2012, 3iQ launched some of Canada's first compliant digital asset funds, North America's first listed Bitcoin and Ethereum funds, the world's first Ethereum staking ETF, the Solana staking ETF, and a spot XRP ETF, and operates the digital asset custody account platform QMAP. Following Coincheck's acquisitions of institutional crypto brokerage Aplo SAS and staking service platform Next Finance, this acquisition will strengthen its global expansion in institutional clients, ETFs, and staking services, and explore revenue and business synergies with existing subsidiaries.
