Iranian officer: Interceptions in the Strait of Hormuz were only carried out against warships disguised as merchant ships.

PANews reported on March 5th that, according to Jinshi News, several Iranian media outlets quoted an Iranian military officer as saying that Iran has not closed the Strait of Hormuz. The officer stated that Iran treats transit vessels in accordance with international agreements, "only intercepting warships disguised as merchant ships."
